Quickly Lucian found himself assaulted by three Beastmen in front of him. The swipe of his scythe was with the hope that the man would cut down all three of them in a single blow but the strength of the gods had all but left his limbs. Replacing it was a seasoned prowess of skill that Lucian had practiced across two years of war and battle. The guiding hand of Morr had left him but the man remembered the guidance of the Death God.
For it the Knight cut down one of the Beastmen with a belly cut, the blow spilling his guts across the forest floor with a single flick.
Lucina had hoped that the strike would have carried itself across into the neck of the other but there his skill faultered. The Knight instead struck a deep blow into the rib cage of the creature. As his strength was robbed from him when he struck against the stomach of the dying, his blow did not have enough strength to dig into the lungs and heart of the beastman to make it a clean kill.
Instead Lucian ripped out a chunk of chest-flesh that scattered the land around them with crimson red blood. It was the same blood that leaked from man, for these Beastmen were only the mutants that Mankind had borne in the light of Morrslieb.
Lucian had to defend as the two still standing beastmen threw an crude axe and sword in his direction. Lucian was able to raise his scythe to defend against the weaker sword while twisting his body just enough to dodge the blow from the axe. Movement becoming momentum, the Noble Knight flinged himself to the side and with a single strike severed the skull from the torso of the injured Beastman.
The last one breyed as it saw it was the remainder. Seemingly spooked by the skill that Lucian still held which had caused the death of its fellows. It was enough for Lucian to steal a look towards Bok.
The Kroxigor, being the larger of them, had been found fighting against eight of the Beastmen. Two of them were slammed into the ground while the Kroxigor had taken one of them into his mouth. Lucian wondered why the Kroxigor had not killed the Beastman yet, but then he watched a violent roll performed by the Kroxigor that turned the one in its mouth to a pulp.
There were more coming, Lucian saw, coming from around the woods. A group of Beastmen large enough to destroy the village that was behind them that was now trying to run over their little road block.
Lucian would make sure they paid their toll in blood.
>Call to bring more beastmen to Lucian
>Try to attract their champion
>Keep the slaughter at the norm.
