You've lost track of the Rookies. All of them seemed the cowardly sort, so you half expect them to be fleeing back into the greater network. When you approach the food court, you're nearly blindsided by a flying purple missile. Tsukaimon fails to club you on the head, instead flapping before you with a wicked grin on his face.
<span class="mu-r"><span class="mu-s">"Now, here's a foe that's my size!"</span></span>
<span class="mu-r"><span class="mu-s">"Careful! She beat the old boss."</span></span> Cries Elecmon, emerging from behind a potted plant.
You're surrounded, but you have no intention of getting wounded by a Virus Digimon again. Your hand reaches for your toolkit, and the two of them get ready to strike you in turn. There's no sign of Gazimon, and you're on your own. Luckily, you have more experience than the last time.
<span class="mu-s"><span class="mu-r">"Bad Message!"</span></span>
Tsukaimon launches a stream of text from his mouth. It's a bizarre attack, forcing you to dive low and evade it. That motion puts you within range of Elecmon's claws. He lunges and slashes at your face, nearly snagging the goggles. You pull back, banging your head on a wall column for your effort. With a hefty kick, you hit him directly on the snout and stagger upright. Tsukaimon takes a moment to laugh at his buddy's poor fortune, rather than attacking you again.
<span class="mu-s"><span class="mu-r">"Argh! My nose!"</span></span>
You rapidly flick through your inventory, working out what your best course of action is.
>Use the Freeze code again. You'll be getting up close and personal, but this is the only way you have of suspending Digimon. If you end up targeting the right one first, maybe you can drive off the other too. (Write-in: Which one do you try to freeze?)
>Use your optical camouflage. They can't deal with you going invisible. Once you consume yet another precious use of this tool, you can easily freeze them solid and head to the cafeteria.
>Make use of f1oat to abscond to the first floor. It'll take Elecmon time to catch up, allowing you to find another path to the cafeteria. You'll still need to worry about the flying Tsukaimon, but this will take you out of physical confrontation range.
