The amount of psychic energies around TalOS began to mount and he could feel it. Upon the planet of Xana the realm between man and daemon were so thin that it could be cut by any nascent psyker. As the Psi-Candles did what TalOS never wished for them to do until now, that state of affairs was quickly recreated and then went beyond what was originally hosted.
A soft purple came through the area as TalOS felt his very being shift and shake. He felt the power of the psykers gripping into the warp and tugging at the edges of creation. Such immense power was being worked and it was happening all around TalOS’s soul.
There was no pain yet but TalOS was quickly feeling his mind give into terror. Memories locked away into his past were swiftly coming back as reality around him began to look more and more like the warp. He felt his mind’s eye gazing into an abyss of damnation and quickly he noticed that all of them were looking back at him.
While there were so many creatures around that TalOS could barely speak of. But his eyes, cursed he was, for they told him that they were all part of the greatest whole of four creatures. Their daemons surrounded the space of Xana, only being kept out through the eternal hunger of the damned.
Nurgle, God of Decay and Death. He was a bloated mess of flesh and disease that frowned at it and looked upon TalOS. Was it because it was about to miss a chance at his soul or did it actually care for the pain that it knew he would experience.
The next was Khorne, Lord of blood and murder. Bloated he was from all the deaths that the epochs of violence he still wanted more skulls for the throne he was upon.
Slaanesh, the newest TalOS understood, noticed did not care much for his intrusion into the realm of damned souls. It looked to him that the God of ecstasy was trying their best to break into somewhere that was unseen even to his eyes.
Lastly, TalOS cursed seeing it, was Tzeentch. The closest to TalOS as a sworn enemy and whose form was nonsensical to the eyes of the materium. He was the only one who tried to reach forward and touch into the planet of Xana, only for whatever flesh neared the planet’s sphere of influence to consume that piece of his body.
Here TalOS realized he was once before two parts, one of the warp and one of the materium. Now though they were of the same thing to his soul through the sorceries of Xana. In his fear he realized that the first hurdle had been crossed.
Then there was pain.
