In the minutes that follow, the pair of you uneasily circle about one another in the water at a short distance, both terribly wounded and trying to quickly think of a next best move. You trade several minor, probing or taunting blows back and forth as each tries to gauge the others strengths and weakness. Eventually though your injuries are getting the better of you, and you have to do something you are terribly unused to... taking the defensive.
In a guarding stance as you try to remain swimming in the water while losing blood, you entice the king to eventually act, and gripping his trident he makes a charging swim at you through the water with a strong battle cry.

<span class="mu-b">"-heurk-heork-HURK!"</span>
Just what you were hoping for however, as you feel your insides twist and bulge at your will, before a bloody kraken's tentacle erupts from your maw in preparation of the king. In a terrifyingly quick motion the tentacle whips right for the king and strikes him in the chest. His armor protects him from the blow but it is enough to halt his charge, allowing for you to grab for his trident. Firstly with one hand, as he tries to resist you, but then you just yank the weapon and him with it towards you to grab with your other hand. The king may be a skilled fighter and an agile water combatant, but none could ever hope to match your sheer strength.
In fact you even bend the divine weapon between your hands, your fists clasped over his own fists gripping the trident such that you begin to crush his hands. You'd smile with malice if you could, were the tentacle not forcing your mouth fully open to try and wrap around the king's torso and perhaps crush his armor on him next. In his desperation and his own quick thinking however, it seems you may have given the king exactly what he needs.

Stronger than him by any measure, at least in body. But not necessarily in regards to your command of the ocean around you. By simple physiology, you are humanoid while the king is practically half a fish. And sure you do have a tail of your own, no doubt powerful, but you can't swim or work the water like the king can. Even with your grip of him, your foe begins to beat his tail, something which clearly causes him immense pain considering your biting wounds of him there. But through the pain he can begin to move the both of you, and eventually control your shared movement together.
