You follow the sound of the footsteps into one of the rooms… Inside, a middle aged guy has just thrown something through the window, and you hear the smacking sound once it connects with the ground. Now, he steps back. He’s planning on jumping out!
“W-Wait, don’t jump!” Grace shouts without thinking!
“T-Therrre’s so much to live for!” Mirjam adds to her sister’s shrieking.
“H-Huh? What…?” The guy didn’t realize you four came in. “O-Oh, t-this is a misunderstanding… ha.. ha…! I-I was planning on using this!” The man in the suit shows a rope he was holding in his hand.
“No! That’s a <span class="mu-i">terrrrible</span> way to go too!” Mirjam rejects this idea too!
“Yeah, like, don’t! Don’t!” Grace can’t come up with anything else to say.
“Girls, that noose isn’t the type for <span class="mu-i">that</span>.” You bring some common sense to the situation.
“H-He’s right! C-Calm down! I don’t have that many reasons to kill myself just yet, haha…” The gentleman chuckles nervously.
“<span class="mu-i">Mr. Auburn...</span>” Jesse’s eyes are wide open.
That’s your guy? He doesn’t look interesting… Neither do you, so you can judge!
