Alex nods, and practices the controls. It's a little trickier flying due to the three dimenional aspect of moving, but Alex picks it up surprisingly easily. It isn't long before he's able to make sharp turns and fly in loops with ease. "Wow, you're a natural!" Mellow says, cheering you on. "The clouds look so cool up close!" you hear your sister says. She's right though, the graphics on this thing are pretty insane.
Their joy ride is eventually interrupted when a continuous beeping sound starts to play, and the mini map on the top right corner of your HUD begins to pulsate with a red light. "Oh no, you better watch out! That a warning to let you know there's a player match happening nearby. If you get too close, you might get dragged into the battle." Mellow informs. "So PvP matches can be held out here too? How does that work?" Alex asks. "Yep! You can challenge anyone to a battle in almost any area! You can even challenge multiple people, or multiple people challenge you. You can refuse, of course, but some areas won't give you that option."
"Interesting", Alex comments. Looking closer at the map and figuring out how to expand it, Alex sees multiple moving red dots, maybe four or five, and two green dots. The green dots seem to be surrounded, the fight will be a one sided win if this keeps up. "Are they the ones fighting?" "Yes, that's right. Their numbers don't seem all that fair though.. But, PvP matches can only begin with the consent of both parties, so maybe it's on purpose..?"
Looking further at what the map can show him, Alex sees about a dozen or so blue dots further to the East. "What's that all about?" he asks as he points to the mass of dots. "Hmm, looks like players are gathering over there. They're probably getting ready to participate in a boss battle event that's about to spawn there! You can earn certain achievements by doing stuff like dealing the most damage or taking the least hits, and if you're lucky, you can win rare and powerful gunpla parts! They're really tough though, a beginner could get taken out in one hit if they're not careful."
"Ooohh, I wonder what kind of boss battle it'll be? I bet it'll be something huge, like a Psycho Gundam!" you hear your sister say. Thinking over what you want to do next, you notice that there's a large field of flowers far out in the horizon, under a very large tree.
"So what do you want to do now?" Cassie asks.
