>>5600654You’re lying on your bed, thinking about the last mission. You tried to kill yourself after Simon forced you to eat one of the pies, and it was only because they held you down that you didn’t succeed. Though, if you hadn’t been forced to eat the pie, you might not have confirmed it was the pies behind everything. You’re still not sure if you should be mad about that.
There’s also something else that’s bugging you. After Simon fired his gun to prevent a crowd of shoppers from grabbing a pile of free pies, you ran to hide from any cops or witnesses that might come after you. But, after that, everything becomes a blur until you end up back at the vans ready to leave. Weird. Maybe it was just the stress of everything that made you forget. You haven’t been sent on anything for a few days now, which you guess is a relief, though it’s been plenty boring. Just like prison then.
Further thoughts are interrupted when the lights in your room go red. The speaker system, which you’ve never heard active before, suddenly starts blaring a loud and deep artificial voice.
ALERT. CONTAINMENT BREACH. REMAIN WHERE YOU ARE. CONTAINMENT BREACH. REMAIN WHERE YOU ARE. ALERT.
That can’t be good. You sit up in your bed to pay attention to what else the speaker is going to say, but it sounds like a looped message. Guess you better stay put. Who knows what’s going on in the rest of the facility. As you begin to make yourself comfortable you feel a strange fuzzy feeling go all over you, making your hair stand on end, before disappearing. What was that? You wait a moment to see if it reoccurs, but it doesn’t.
Your thoughts begin to wander again. Nothing’s happening other than the constant blaring of the alarm. Which, you suppose, is a good thing. But do they actually guard the D-Wing, or are you too far away from the experiment labs to feel the effects? What’s actually caused the containment breach? What was that strange feeling earlier? You’re getting so curious you’re starting to wonder if it wouldn’t be worth wandering around the D-Sphere when you notice someone outside your door. You look more closely at them in the red light. It’s…
>Agent Simon. What’s he doing here?>A D-Boy. You’ve never seen him before.>The Choco King. Your one friend in this place.>Nobody there. Must have been mistaken.
