The two of them stared at one another as the man still did not fully comprehend what was happening. Runtime errors like this can happen within mankind and sadly the ritual of reactivation cannot resolve this issue.
What needed to be done to a human was changing their mind to another item. To give them new information lest they fall into insanity of a logic error.
Such errors are the bane of Tech Priests. Mortals cannot comprehend such things but TalOS never had enough fingers to count how many of his brothers and sisters died to their world changing so rapidly.
“Your planet is but a piece in the grand scheme of the cosmos. Beyond the border of the Federation is the Imperium and Mechanicum, both of which will be happy to wipe out your people for the prospect of integration. It would have been in the same manner as today, with some variations depending on which of my Brothers were chosen.”
The man’s eyes snapped upon TalOS but the Primarch could tell they were hollow. Now TalOS spoke to his people, which through them any other planet foolish enough to have this fate.
“Beyond those borders are mysteries beyond our comprehension. Xenos such as the Ork prowell the region looking for fresh metal for their war engines, while other races will convent your very souls for their Warp-Sorcery. You are a minor casualty because there are entire wars that are being fought or to be fought over entire sectors of space we have yet encountered. Horrors that even I, a creation of the Emperor and Fabricator General, cannot fathom to conceptualize.” TalOS leaned into his next words to put in the finishing blow, “These days are of unification, but they are also in preparation. In time before it was the Men of Iron who struck out against us in an attempt to eradicate mankind. They will not be the last.”
TalOS noticed that as he spoke sense was returning to the man. TalOS knew that the man was no longer with them and was instead being tortured by the daemons of his own imagination. Fears from beyond the veil of reality were throwing themselves at him in an attempt to break his spirit and eat his soul.
+Take him to the Blackstone Fortress.+ TalOS declared as he hated seeing a man reduced to such a state, +His mind must be dulled before sense can be returned. We will need him to secure the planet.+
+Understood Father.+ The Astartes said as the two turned around and left his presence.
