“Crystallization. Your body's outer layer is being merged with my crystals, to ensure you don't slip away again.” your son's voice comes from behind him, only for the slime-like creature to shoot itself out of the crystallizing mass, tearing itself free and retreating in a panic. “Hmph. Coward. C'mon Dad, let's get you back to Caulifla, get you healed up.”
“J-Jiren. He's. Still-!” you say, your son replying before you can finish through your gasping breaths.
“Freeza's gonna handle him, to make sure he's out.” your son replies, and in a blink you're back to your friends, surrounded by everyone. Except for Freeza and Ginyu, who no doubt went with the former emperor. However, right as Caulifla goes to kneel by you, suddenly you get a flash of Foresight. Watching helplessly as your daughter's suddenly sent flying, the mark on her chest a telltale sign of Hit's attack. Immediately as the vision ends you grab your daughter's arm, pulling her away. She moves the way you're pulling her, and right as she does Hit's invisible energy slams into her side. Barely grazing her, but hitting her hard enough to spin her around and drop her to the ground.
“RIMURU! Safety net!” Chilli shouts, immediately taking off after the assassin alone. Rimuru, however, creates some sort of magic bubble around you all, your son and he clearly having developed some sort of coded language for their planned maneuvers.
“That was some impressive fighting. It looked a lot like my own skill, with your body moving without your mind controlling it.” Rimuru tells you as he helps Caulifla up, turning to her. “You alright?”
“Y-Yeah. Only grazed me.” Caulifla says, your daughter turning her attention back to you, kneeling by your side. “How'd you know?”
“Saw. The future.” you say, Cauli and Rimuru just accepting your answer as your daughter unleashes another wave of healing magic, it infusing your exhausted body. So exhausted, in fact, that you now realize your daughter looks a lot taller than usual. Which can only mean one thing, you've reverted completely back to base form. And you're not the only one, your wife sitting in a meditative pose, arms and legs trembling as she clearly tries to rest and focus on restoring her own strength to return to battle.
