QM: ok so Cassidy and Morfran climb down and then over the pit of mysterious orbs, there is no roll for this it is an obstacle but not particularly perilous if they do it slowly and carefully. As they squeeze through the tiny gap of light on the other side, they can see the following scene (pic related)
They are clearly now in the construction bay where they previously heard the construction worker conversation during the rest break. But now, no construction workers are to be found at all.
Instead, at the opposite side of a vertiginous chasm drop of machinery and robotic crane arms, Cassidy can see someone she recognises: Captain Tyndareus, the security commander of this station. He is gesturing and talking to some armed tactical personnel:
(UNKNOWN TACTICAL SECURITY OPERATOR)
-We have all the levels on lockdown, sir. The saboteurs will be found. There is no getting past us, sir.
CAPTAIN TYNDAREUS
-It is imperative that no one enters this area. These drone frigates have just been completed, and a lot of work has gone into them. And tell your men to watch their fire. Scan all sectors and clean aimed shots only.
(UNKNOWN SECURITY)
-On it, sir.
Cassidy and Morfran are perched on a small ledge opposite station security - who have not seen them yet.
>Well, maybe now is a good time to test out those drones... try and climb onto a gantry and into one of the drone frigates. Maybe release a few as a distraction?
QM: I am not sure how you imagine it, but I am thinking of the ship as a carrier for autonomous drones. If you want the entire ship to be autonomous (ie no human crew) that is fine too, you can assume Cassidy accesses some initial ship calibration controls or something
>Wave at Captain Tyndareus - over here, captain! Help us! We just escaped a fire...!
>Fire a laser pistol at the tactical station security (roll 1d100)
>Throw your newly retrieved Mysterious Orb in a direction opposite the one you are facing, hoping it makes as much noise and clattering as possible, then climb along a crane and try and reach the opposite side
>Something else?
