It was another peaceful morning. So peaceful that not even the storm outside could take away from it, as dreary and grey as it made the day.
While it wasn't the worst storm you've see, or gone through for that matter, but it did cause a disturbance in the waves and was enough to make travel unwise.
Rescheduling became a common thing today, with most having anticipated it ever since the distant thunder clouds grew closer with each passing day. Herta in particular was the most annoyed with this turn of events. Unlike Gerty, who took this opportunity to do some practice drills with the construction clankers, the Goddess of Artifice would spend the day pouting and seeking out punishments under your hand. Despite her whining you felt relief that Herta was forced to take a breather. Soon enough Herta would fall asleep, and would remain slumbering for the rest of the day.
As the weather was annoying enough to force a day indoors, you spent hours looking through the Orb for Catty's father.
While Cattleya might've been a muscle head, that didn't mean she wasn't able to catch wind of your plans.
"Oi, Master," Cattleya meowed "You plannin' to rescue my old man?"
"Yeah, pretty much." You replied. She beamed at the news.
"About bloody time." Her relieved words lacked any bite.
And that seemed to settle that matter. At least for now.
The day continued. Some fleeting concern was given to your animals, the goats, since you only had a makeshift stable to hold them in. Thankfully Bertha had just finished setting up a better place for them to sleep in. This led to you asking her what foods you might need to give them, what uses they might have for you, as well as any other things of interest.
"We're gonna need to make some more food to feed these guys," Your warrioress began her reply, "Maybe even make a pasture or two? They're really greedy for food. And when I say way they need more, I mean, like, a lots of food. Especially since one of the lady goats is gonna have a baby. It was pretty hard to keep them from getting into the garden. On the bright side that lady-goat can give us some milk in the meantime. Also another good thing is that I think these guys are the types that can be sheared for their wool. And I'm not sure if their meat is high quality."
"Anything else I should know about animal husbandry?"
"Huh?"
"I'm basically asking if there's anything specific I should know about the goats."
"You're asking the wrong gal, Master; this is my first time taking care of these types of animals."
"In any case you've been doing a great job."
"Thanks!"
The goats seemed to be a pretty decent animals overall. Though it remained to be seen if things were gonna keep going so smoothly.
Before you left there was some stuff your warrioress wanted to tell you.
