There was a wait after that signal was sent. It was not a wait in the sense of them not sending communication but the fact that communication at this distance was going to take minutes. There were ways to advance such things faster than the speed of light but their current target was too far for that.
It was a bothersome wait, that is for sure.
Fifteen minutes after the declaration was sent by TalOS they received a message. This time TalOS was the one to receive the message and process it with the encryption codes the team recently used.
<span class="mu-s">+Arch Dominus of Lucius, your identity has been recognized but not verified. In good faith we will allow yourself and two escort vessels towards Mezoa for verification. If we detect anymore void vessels the Defense Fleet has been given orders to open fire.+</span>
TalOS read this message a couple of times over. It was obvious that they were not trusting of outsiders but was it true? Well TalOS had a feeling that it was true doubled with the box in his hands growing hot.
Quickly numerous pieces of information made themselves known to TalOS. Along with the Vox Casting a series of ships that can be identified as the Defense Fleet were coming into the system and making themselves known. About fifty ships total though they were not up to the same standard as his own fleet. Conflict would be hard but TalOS recognized that thanks to his Pickett Ship design they had a real chance of victory.
Then again what is there to say there is not more? They would probably want to get another of the Exhibition Fleets in order to sure up their numbers.
