>>6126971You breath in a deep wiff of the festering trash in the tents, the igloo cooler, blue and white with a carry handle. It is, err, it isn't nice, this smell. You don't see much sign of struggle, nothing is really torn up. In fact, you fill (2) duffle bags with junk from around and inside the tents. You find (6) more small bits and pieces in the pockets of the ghouls. You sort out one of the duffle bags and find (9) items you think might be useful, six mess kits and a small alcohol stove, a folding field shovel and a hunting knife. And from the other you Count out (7) pieces, a grey Towel, long cargo pants, a pair of folded socks, a bar of soap, a canteen, a spool of fishing line, and a hatchet
Pulping aside, you don't see any marks on the bodies or bites to indicate how the group turned, except that with the helicopter from the picture gone, you know not everyone necessarily turned. There is the picture taker, for instance.
>hey PeteComes a voice from behind you. You turned and see the blurred visage of the shopkeep standing near the ladder.
>you alright up here? They didn't bite you, did they? You explain about the warehouse, the collapsed shelves, the torn up corpse and all of it.
>well, you've got a spot of trouble out here too. We'd better smooth it over.He motions you over to the edge and shows you the ambulance, the whole scene from the rooftop's edge.
>word of advice, you want to make it up to the man. I know, accidental, and all, but bad blood doesn't pay, and pre-emptive recompense will make it all friendly. The Merchant gives you this advice, in an almost fatherly way, the kind you'd have expected to hear when you were a kid.
Down on the ground, the ambulance owner is upset, but more shocked than livid. You smoothe it over, and he calms well enough. He even invites you along on his next job to find a missing scout.
You wind up with 22 pieces of loot, 8 heads, and their bodies, for a total, if you trade in everything, of 38 bucks, plus your nightstick.
[Some of the gear you can also use yourself if you want to keep it.]

[We are a few posts from being archived, so most of what we do will be in the next thread. However, if you want to play again on the Halloween edition, you can adventure, or spend the whole time working regular tasks. I'll QM either way.]
Assuming you sell some or all of your loot, what do you want to buy?
