Her power was more than enough to knock Botamo from the ring, yet her attack didn't even alter the trajectory of his course.”
“Wh.. Oh, do forgive me. But, I have no idea what powers the ningen possess.” Fuwa says idly, watching passively as the bear finally comes to a stop, landing on his feet a dozen feet from her. “They are beneath us.”
“Fool.” you think to yourself, not answering aloud but simply bowing, returning your attention to the fight as Shin and the Sixth's Grand Supreme Kai talk.
“Heh heh, tell you what. Give me your best shot.” the bear taunts, gesturing her to come to him with his right hand's fingers. But she's no fool, you sensing her energy go out beneath the arena. Then firing it up at the bear creature with a smirk.
“Watch your step.” she says, vaporizing the arena beneath Botamo's feet. Since she can't hurt him, she went for the rules of the tournament, aiming for a ring out. Botamo reaches out, grabbing onto the sides of the hole and keeping himself from falling in. As he does she then dashes forward, flipping into an axe kick. Striking Botamo square in the head. Once again, her attack seemingly does nothing, but you do notice a distortion in the space around him at the point of impact. And, with a flash of understanding realize what's going on.
“Hoooo? Impressive.” you say as the bear begins pulling himself out of the hole. Elder Kai, having learned some of your ways turns to you, a brow raised. Knowing what he wants to ask you begin to speak, explaining yourself. “That one, Botamo. He is using a technique I've only theorized about. But seeing not only that it is possible, but how well it works is astounding.”
“Ohh? And what technique would that be?” he asks you as Botamo begins firing energy shots from his mouth at her.
“Yes, that's right! Show the Seventh why you're the best, Botamo!” Champa cheers, the fool thinking his fighter is winning. But you can already see the weakness of the technique, and how his over reliance on it will cause the end.
“This fight will end with a ring out.” you say aloud, and not a second later Botamo fires a shot through Meloka. Or, rather, her afterimage.
“What?” Fuwa asks, surprised by the technique as Meloka, now behind Botamo grabs him by a foot, pulls him over and drags him to the edge. Where she throws him off, the yellow bear landing on the ground.
“Contestant Botamo is out of bounds! The winner is contestant Meloka!” the announcer declares, much to Fuwa and his attendant's shock.
