>>5976525>>5968654>Great Expectations ending>"We sat down on a bench that was near..."I have a personal theory about the ending of 500 Days Of Summer. In this film some uninteresting bloke from Inception discovers his romantic life is ruined partially due to his own neediness / excessive egocentric romantic sensibilities and vulnerability but also because his big plan for reconciliation / getting back together with his former girlfriend is ruined by her engagement to another (she conveniently does not tell him) no fairytale wedding ending tee hee hee
So my theory is that the ending, where he just happens to accidentally and conveniently encounter her again as he waits for an architecture interview near a favourite romantic spot in a park he once shared with her, my theory is that this never happened. It is all imagined inside his head. He just imagines talking through everything with her a figment of his imagination and this is how he tries to move on and heal it is the elusive psychological closure noooo
Anyway you now get the dreaded Zooey Deschanel karaoke rendition of the Sugar Town song, it is catchy
500 Days Of Summer - Sugar Town
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=6q0NdYtQBg0I got some troubles, but they won't last
I'm gonna lay right down here in the grass
And pretty soon all my troubles will pass
'Cause I'm in shoo-shoo-shoo, shoo-shoo-shoo
Shoo-shoo, shoo-shoo, shoo-shoo Sugar Town
I never had a dog that liked me some
Never had a friend or wanted one
So I just lay back and laugh at the sun
'Cause I'm in shoo-shoo-shoo, shoo-shoo-shoo
Shoo-shoo, shoo-shoo, shoo-shoo Sugar Town
