The map spun before their eyes, the places that the Emperor picking out shown before everyone’s eyes on what could possibly be the locations of battle. Against these locations were the numerous spots which were marked too dangerous for mankind to even dare enter yet.
One of these places was the greatest Ork Empire that has yet, and will likely ever, be seen upon the galactic stage. Its core was a planet according to Federation records to be called Ullinor and was where Mankind previously banished the Orks when Mankind ascendant to the Golden Age.
TalOS wished that mankind did not decide on a treaty but instead eradication. But these were Orks, the most resilient race ever to be known. If there was a drop of Ork blood upon an Asteroid then that rock would quickly become a source of infestation. When it becomes an infestation it will inevitably be used as a delivery vector for the Ork infection to arrive upon a fertile world.
Thus it was unreasonable to wish that the Ancients had spent the resources to eradicate the Orks. He still wished it though, if nothing else than to remove upon the Galactic Stage that splotch of green which infested the map like an infection.
“Guilliman, we have already had our discussions that you will be working upon the realm of Ultramar. Thus you will not be subject to campaign from anywhere but your home.” The Emperor said first and foremost as he looked upon the diligent son.
“I thank you for this opportunity, Father.” Guilliman answered as he gave a small bow of his head to display respect.
“Fulgrim, Horus.” The Emperor said as he looked at the two of them, “The Third Legion is still recovering from the losses they sustained earlier in the Crusade. The two of you will continue to fight together until the number of Emperor’s Children reaches twenty thousand.”
“Thank you for affirming our thoughts, Father.” Horus said as Fulgrim simply gave a gleeful smile, “I believe it would be wise for us to continue fighting in the Galactic North a ways beyond the Federation Sector. There are a great many Greenskins there that will require both myself and Fulgrim to exterminate.”
“Your reasoning is sound, does anyone here reject Horus’s claim?” The Emperor asked as he glanced across the room.
There was not a sound or a call out, many shaking their heads to display their thoughts on the matter without words. The Emperor seemed satisfied as he gripped the scene and made the world seem to travel.
