The Xenos only had ten seconds to understand that the ships were inhabited before a series of boarding torpedoes were all sent across the void and into their hulls. They would have called out but the instant they were impacted a wave of something cut through space and put a damper upon everything the Xenos the psychic xenos could say.
The Skitarii who were aboard the torpedos quickly slaughtered everyone before them in a radioactive haze of gunfire. Seconds later the xenos who could see the Skitarii watched as the fabric of reality was sundered allowing giant steel and beige giants walk out.
Moments later they were slaughtered by Volkite fire.
It was not just those ships close to the Mechanicum’s fleet that were suffering problems. A blanket was placed over the Warp in such a way that the communications of the Xenos became impossible even between one another. Such a thing only shrinked their reaction time as the numerous Tartarus Class ships awakened and pointed their mounted bow gun in their direction.
Seconds later a barrage of gunfire was sent out and many slammed into the surface of the ships with devastating effect.
It was then the true nature of the Mechanicum’s ships were finally realized that those from afar tried to engage. A series of small fighters were sent flying towards the awakened Pickett Line in an attempt to help the boarded ships in escaping the realized trap.
Such an attempt was not in their favor as the Pickett’s line second purpose was discovered. Numerous las-turrets that were mounted upon their hulls began to fire out in an all encompassing blanket of energy bolts. Some of these bolts whitted short thanks to the starting Machine Spirits, others went too far for they were too eager to fight, but more than enough hit their mark and shredded all the fighters that were approaching.
Another barrage of prow mounted cannons went off and slammed themselves against the now active shields of the enemy. While five of these shots would not have been a problem, nearly twenty of them caused the shields to collapse and scratch into the hull. The Xenos Cruisers would not die from the shots but it definitely spoked to them.
It was then that the Onus Probandi finally awakened once more in service of the Machine god.
>Advance forward with the full fleet and engage the enemy ships!
>Take complete control of these two ships. There is plenty to learn with these
>A Primarch is the Captain, see if we can win with just a Cruiser and Tartarus class ships.
