I’ll bring up your case but I also believe you should probably tell Jessica Rodriguez she apparently has experience with hiding among non human people so she might be able to blend in and act as a proxy or some form of inheritor she could be given one of the rings if she wants to.
As for the humans there are other places where humanity still hold out judging by the map we have but I’m not certain how many still survive.
