>>5465986Your brother and the ghost girl end up trying to hug one another… which results in him passing through her and faceplanting on the ground. Whoops.
Still, full ten points, with the bonus!
Hado and Erasa try their best, getting through five challenges, but a room filled with giant, shadowy panthers unnerves Hado enough that Erasa doesn’t feel comfortable continuing, and she ends up leading the two of them out of the House of Nightmares. He doesn’t really protest, having hit his limit, but he does appreciate that she led him out.
Five points for them.
And then the real surprise, Idasa and Kokoro make it through to the end! While Idasa does show quite a bit of fear in facing down some of the challenges before the two, Kokoro almost treats it like it’s a trip down memory lane, making offhand comments about how she faced off against some of the illusions they come across. When they come to the final room, Idasa notices it’s exceptionally warm. “It is hot as hell in here…” he complains in a pant. The reason for that becomes clear quite quickly, for it looks like an actual hell, the illusion presenting it as such. And the big challenge at the end… “IS THAT THE GRIM REAPER?!”
“Haha, kinda looks like ‘em yeah.” Kokoro remarks calmly. “You know I ended up shootin’ ‘em in the face once?”
“...What.” Idasa responds in disbelief.
Kokoro takes him by the hand and leads him to the exit. “Story for another time. Come on, let’s get outta here before it starts collapsing in on itself.”
He blinks. “…It can do that?”
“Most of the ones I’ve been in have done that.” Kokoro states sincerely.
Once outside she even waits for a bit before realizing that no, it isn’t going to fall apart. She almost seems disappointed by that. Well, regardless, full ten, and a bonus!
Last but not least, Ikose and Sibella. They do manage to get through six rooms, even passing through something that looked like a deranged restaurant with garlic everywhere, and a scary-looking vampire hunter, both of which do unnerve Sibella considerably, but it’s Ikose that ends up failing the seventh room. He at first tries to protect her from a figure approaching them… but then that figure morphs into a giant version of his own mother, yelling at him and swinging her purse. You… do feel that one’s kinda mean, but the illusion shows what he’s fearing the most. And… you kinda can’t blame that.
He and Sibella bolt to an exit, and round things off with a last six points for their team.
