>>5933330“I had considered it. However...” the Demon God says, descending and landing only a few feet from you. “You aren't quite a Kai. Tell me, young one: what is your name?”
“Kars.” you reply, meeting his gaze. But as you stare into his eyes, suddenly you feel yourself pulled into them. And find yourself in a bizarre landscape. At first you see Mechikabura as a young man competing against the Time Kai for the woman who'd been beside him as he'd landed near you and the old Kai's approval, but she chooses the other Kai over him. Then he was sealed away in a space beyond time, finding the dark power you'd felt from him and taking it into himself to become stronger. But he was still trapped in that space, growing old to the point of near-death before being brought back. He fights to regain his youth, waging war against the Time Kai who'd wronged him only for her to, upon his success, erase everything. All of time, reality, everything is simply gone except for a small bit of Mechikabura's soul and his Dark Factor, the power he'd found beyond time stored within the Dark Dragon Balls.
But the wild ride isn't over yet, as you see from his view within the orb that all of time is rebuilt, everything put back how it was only for him to convince a Towa working under Dumplin to release him. Allowing him to compare the old universe in one hand against the new one in the other. Seeing the difference and how it works, learning how to manipulate the power of Souls to crush Chronoa. Leading up to their final confrontation where she prepares to use her power, only for him to rip the accumulated power from all the Time God mantles she's wielded over reality after reality. Forcing her to flee. But then, like a tornado rushing by feel yourself pulled backwards off your feet, slamming back into your own body standing before the Demon God Mechikabura once more.
“I see. Yes, I think you'll do nicely.” the being older than you can comprehend says, suddenly blazing his aura. EVERYTHING shakes, all of reality itself trembling at his power as he stops holding back. But then, to your surprise, gathers a small, dark flame in his hand, one brimming with power yet is only a tiny, near-insignificant fraction of his strength. “You might have what it takes, one day.”
“Takes for what?” you ask, but without another word he flicks that tiny flame at you. It striking you in the chest, absorbing into your body immediately. The power instantly consumes you, scorching you body and soul for several moments. The power of the Dark Factor is unlike anything you've ever felt before, nearly drowning you in it. But, after what feels like an hour you get that raging power under control, sealing it away within you much as you had with that pesky Guardian of New Salda's divine might. “Haaaaaaah-!”
