You don’t want to paint a target on your back when you already have your hands full with Houndour and this remedial class waste of time.
What could be of use, is the location where Tekuani found Mawile, if there is someplace where Steel Types abound, it could be a useful training spot to improve Houndour’s Fire-Type moves and get her used to fighting.
Tekuani obliges. With her limited grasp of the language she tells you that on the edge of the city, there’s an abandoned mine located just outside city limits that has become inhabited by wild Pokémon. Rock and Ground types seem to be the most numerous, but there are areas where Steel types tend to flock.
If you want to find steel types, the girl advises you to be on the lookout for three things.
“Bite marks on the rails and equipment lead to those grey armored beasts and Camatl, large bite marks lead to strong noble beasts, leave them alone. Moss leads to the metal seeds with spikes and eyes. Strange machines are sticking from some walls, can be dangerous, they are poisonous and loud.”
You make a mental note to remember this place for later. There’s something else nagging you. You can’t understand why this girl would go to such lengths to do all this. Throwing herself directly into danger seems like this seems almost suicidal. It boggles your mind. As kindly as possible you ask her “What the fuck is she trying to accomplish that is so important to put herself in such a dangerous position.”
“You guys have a word for this". She silently muses for a second, trying to remember it.
"Revenge, I believe.” She responds nonchalantly. Keeping her explanation short without offering more details.
>Just thank her for the info and go back to your seat. >"Is revenge more important than yourself?" To [ANON] self-preservation triumphs over everything.>"Just don't get yourself killed. Can't get revenge that way">You understand her. While vengeance is pointless in the grand scheme of things. You are dying for the chance to put a certain someone in their place. >"Good luck with that?" Her straightforwardness made her statement very confusing. You thought you had a grasp on her but she might be more unhinged than you previously thought. > "Revenge? That's a pointless endeavor" She's just another fool. A bit disappointing. >Other/ write-in
