Fighting other humans during training was always a challenge to you, it's hard to look them in the eyes and know what they are thinking, but fighting monsters has always been a relaxing experience. You don't have to worry about what they think about you or how to interact with them after the battle, no matter what you do or say they'll just attack you like always, and you'll kill them in the end, like always.
After eliminating a wave of monsters, you strain your ears and listen. No sound except for the wind, complete silence. Others find the silence of the Helman plains to be downright scary compared to the lively castle town of Leazas or the bustling markets of the Free Cities, but you find it comforting. In fact, you would love if this silence could just last forev-
>"Hahahah! WOOO!! Yeah man, nothing like some good old EXP farming to get the journey started huh?! Though could I suggest you just kill Gal Monsters from now on? I would much rather feel some nice warm lady blood on my blade that some old squid- HEY DON'T SHEATHE ME MID SENTEN-"…you really need to get a new sword.
>Leopold is now Lv 18>200 GOLD obtained>"Hey Leo, thanks for helping out clearing the field today. Those critters are easy to kill, but after three years of this job that routine really gets on your nerves, y'know? Hope the money helps!"After getting some money from a town gate guard you've met at the soldier academy (you don't remember his name, who cares) and counting the loot you got from the kills, you ended up getting a total of 200 GOLD! It's not much, but it should be enough to get a ride to the next town over, or buy some stuff at a store.
You get prepared to enter the city again when you notice in the distance, a final group of enemies for you to defeat. Your hand reaches for Chaos when your pinkie accidentally touches something that's almost coming out of your bag, oh right, you forgot you had one of these capturing ropes, maybe you should test it out.
Every enemy here seems pretty easy to catch, however which one to choose? The Green Haniwa may seem weak at first, but they are completely immune to all magic attacks, and their signature Hanny Flash attack can pierce any enemy armor.
Meanwhile, the Goldfish Tamer is extremely fragile, but can summon an almost infinite amount of Goldfish to defend herself. And finally the Squidmen… um… shoot ink I guess…? Yeah honestly, they just suck.
>Capture a Hanny>Capture the Goldfish Tamer>Capture a Squidman (why?)>Don't use the rope and kill them all (more GOLD)
