Lucian felt a hateful anger flow into his veins as he yelled, “God's curse you Wigmar!” His throat quickly hoarse from the roars of combat and now his request for damnation.
The Imperial looked towards him, obviously hearing the insult thrown in his direction. The man quickly took his sword and struck it against the wooden support which was alit to help shatter it faster. A few seconds later the man was gone.
“Lucian, Tee-Nee!” The words of Adok were a welcome to Lucian’s ears. The Knight quickly turned around to see that the warrior was standing on one of the many ruined structures, “This place is coming down! Follow me!”
“Bok, grab Warmblood!” The Lizard said as the two were already in motion. The Lizard’s mount rushing over to Adok and throwing him on the monster’s back as his master slithered onto it, “Direction?”
“Th-that way!” The Dwarf yelled as tried to right himself on the back of the giant lizard.
As the grouping arranged themselves Lucian was upon them all. His feet carrying him quickly in the direction of the Runesmith’s decleration. The way was filled with smoke and debris yet the Dwarf was true in his words. Lucian found himself smashing through a Skaven barricade that had been left abandoned by its guardrats while Bok was rushing the ground on all fours.
They ran through the hell they all created. Skaven were running about with terror in their hearts clearly not knowing which way was the escape and which one simply led the person further into more fires. Many of these horrors were killed by a swift strike of Lucian, but none of them posed a stoppage to them as they rushed through the chambers.
Light was suddenly in the eyes of Lucian. Blinding sunlight that was a holy beacon against the dozen hours he had been spending within the chambers of the ratman. He noticed it was patchwork covered, an obvious attempt to hide the Skaven’s entrance from the surface.
The Knight bursted through it, being welcomed by the canopy of trees as the ground underneath him shook.
Looking over his shoulder, he watched as a large chunk of forest began sinking into the ground. The supports holding up the Skaven Undercity collapsing under the strain of flames.
Lucian cursed himself for letting the sword getting away, yet he had saved the Castle of Bastonne once again.
