Vadar had to think to himself as he heard those words. He went through almost every situation that was given to him by the Primarch and those that were set up by his more immediate sons. In the end the Legion Master answered, “He supports what I have done, but wishes for growth and evolution above all others now.”
The Imperial Fist looked hard upon his brother as he analyzed the Legion Master’s helmet. The man obviously tried to decode those words for all that they were worth. He seemed to satisfy himself as he spoke, “That is really all that we can ask for.”
“Indeed, we cannot divine from the universe what it is our Fathers would want of us. Their will is so many leagues away and hidden from our sight. I would be troubled by those who are certain in their fate.”
“The Third.”
Vadar gave a grievous nod, “What they have given to the Emperor himself is something that no other Legion could. Even as fortunes obviously turned around them they still kept their heads high and the Aquila bored upon their chests.”
“It will be a freight whichever way their Primarch chooses to take them. Whether he chooses to take them down a notch or join them in their pride.”
The two of them turned through the last hallway as a memory came upon the mind of Vadar, “I cannot imagine their experience with Mortals is as fine a take as ours.”
“Your Father has made us Cogs in his Machine of War.” Admitted the Legion Master of the Imperial Fists as they finally approached the final doors, “Only a great Master of War could realize the full potential of all their forces. You are correct in that they will not be any better than they have been before.”
“Then there is nothing that can be done except move forward.” Admitted the Legion master of the Second Legion as he pushed open the doors. As he made his way the Legion Master of the 7th followed his way into the bridge.
