The story of Caledfwlch is a classic from ye olden times, brought to the big screen with... lukewarm response from audiences. Some might call it a cult classic, Horace prefers the term "Most Badass Tale Ever Told." A wizard steals the son of a king only to later have the son inherit the king's magic sword, Caledfwlch! With the sword in hand he unites the kingdom under peace and and chivalry, but it was the latter that was taught to him along his quest in an encounter with a silver knight who had not been bested by any who came before.
The fight was brutal, and eventually the king resorted to using the magical blade in hatred and anger. The sword shattered when it struck the silver knight, the hope of the kingdom seemingly lost... until the king saw the error of his ways and repented, showing he was still fit to rule. Then a whole other half of the movie happens, but that part isn't important right now. The sword! Present the sword!
