Even after you wake up, mother doesn't come to feed you. You all sit in the nest, growing more and more uncomfortable. Your siblings feel worse off than you, since they didn't spend all of yesterday hunting on their own. Once all five of you have started peeping and chirping in attempts to summon mother, she finally makes her appearance. She steps into the cave and scoops you all up with her tendrils. You notice that you've all grown much bigger than before, and each of her many cords is that much thinner when compared to your torso.
The outside world is blurry and indistinct this time. A strange, wispy mass lingers by the ground, rapidly being displaced as mother walks. She's always covered in dirt and grime, but it's particularly thick today. The bright spot in the sky shines down upon you, causing your eyes to constrict.
Mother takes you all to the clearing that Father seems to be permanently parked. Unlike the front of the cave, the entire area is devoid of obstacles, providing nothing but wide open space for all of you. You sense his overwhelming presence somewhere within. It stirs in response to his mate and his children, and you feel him awakening.
With a momentous heave, vast amounts of dirt and ground-fuzz are displaced. A roiling mass of limbs and snapping jaws emerge first, before revealing the great back that they're rooted into. Dark scales glisten with moisture as the appendages begin sweeping the dragon clean. Father approaches, emerging from the earth for the first time and rubbing his long snout against mother's. She sets the five of you down, and you look up, rapt with attention. You sense their minds reaching out, working in concert. It's time to learn. The ancestral knowledge within you could suffice if you were abandoned in the swamps, but it can only take you so far. They seek to give the five of you a respectable education, teaching you the ways of the world, and how your kind ought to be.
There are many lessons that the two of them attempt to teach you. Which of them do you particularly excel in, on this first session?
>Hunting. Father shows you all how to look for your own food. Learn to fight straight away.>Survival. Mother teaches you more about the world you live in. Ground yourself and understand the place you live in.>History. Together, they show you what it means to be a dragon, and get you in touch with your identity.
