“Space is our home, General, travel is never an issue.” You reply calmly. The hard burn to Luna II is neither the first nor the last time you will have to travel with haste. A few of the Federation officers with Revil wrinkle their noses, likely sniffing out some kind of an insult toward Earthnoids, though you meant nothing of the sort - if they wish to be upset, then so be it. Some people find slights in anything. “But I must say the invitation came as a surprise.”
“But our reception here did not,” Vivima shifts her gaze slowly across the soldiers and officers standing along the catwalks of the cavernous hangar, “Felix has spoken highly of you, General Revil. I see it was well founded.”
“I’d hate to make a liar of a good man, especially in times such as these - a person’s word should hold value. I’ve asked for you both to be here because of the message you broadcast…” Revil replies, now close enough to shake your hand - he has a firm grip, but does not take overly long with the greeting before moving onto Vivima. Something behind the two of you catches his eye though, something remarkable enough to cause him to speak up even with so many of his men all about, “You, Miss, what is your name?”
“Tryphosa.” When your bond speaks, her name is heavy with meaning - she expects something.
“Jedar?” Revil asks, the name sending a chill through you and your bond as he speaks it - what does he know? That same pressure you felt so long ago at the embassy, and around others with potential, still clings close to Revil - he is no newtype, but that he has, or at least at one time had, the potential to be one is undeniable. Tryphosa gives a very small nod, and that satisfies Revil for now.
