Now that could have gone badly, but maybe the greenskins had their own right idea in following after the battle. You continue to work your way through the cramped and battle-ravaged interior of the vessel, the access ways like rotten veins of some great beast as you seek the heart. But by your auspex, the direct path leads you on ahead where even at a distance you know you're headed towards the thick of the fighting. Hear it first from afar, then signs of it to be seen. Blood and scorch marks across the floor and walls, from fire and lasfire alike.
<span class="mu-s">"-we can't repel them from here, we need Tercero and Quinto to give up their defense and join us! The hangar is the priority!"</span>
<span class="mu-s">"Oye... what's an Admech doing here? H-Hail Priestess, aren't you a sight!"</span>
<span class="mu-b">"Have they claimed the Enginarium? I must gain entry!"</span>
Hurrying along the corridor, the dark access way is illuminated by weapons fire. A ways ahead it opens up to the access hub for many wings towards the rear of the vessel, including the hangar and the warp array. There at the end of this corridor a group of guardsmen have set up a failing barricade and fire line, but further back here linger some relief troops and logistics auxiliaries, as well as the wounded and dying. In particular a squad commander yelling to try and coordinate via the vox-caster on the back of his dead comrade slumped against the wall.
You almost get shot by a few rear guard for your unexpected approach from the dark, only because of your white robes are you recognized but pretty quickly the broken few squads adjust to and welcome your presence. Probably hoping for your help in combating the Orks, and you suppose you will have to if you want to gain access to the enginarium and plasma reactor beyond. You make an effort to avoid speaking of your true intentions though, expecting hostility for planning to essentially force an evacuation... for anyone who doesn't want to go down with the ship.
<span class="mu-s">"The big one already busted inside, those stragglers aren't heavily armed but there's a lot of them."</span>
<span class="mu-s">"Emperador preserve us, we've done all we can to drive the xenos back."</span>
There's some intel shared between the lot of you, because what else is there to do... and the commander probably hopes to gain your help in the matter. Your information about other Ork groups father back through the access ways is welcome, so that this position doesn't get surprised and overrun from behind, while you are given an explanation of the battle that's been taking place here.
>Encourage and lead a daring counterattack! For the Emperor... err, Omnissiah!
>You wouldn't take command, but you can advise. With your augmented senses you can better direct the defense in these poor conditions.
>Is there anything more than lasguns? Your servo-arm is capable of utilizing heavy weapons, to join the fire line with.
>[Write-in.] The will of the Omnissiah is...
