You look at her in shock, and disappear slowly. The unhinged look on the lady’s face turns to pure horror, her whole body starts shaking – her legs weaken to a point where she loses her balance and drops butt first onto the ground.
“I-I… hallucinate him…?” The lady mumbles as she puts her hand over her mouth. “W-Was everythin’ all a dream…?” She grovels to the spot you were standing, you step back to dodge her, using both hands she checks the ground. “I’m losing my mind…?” She crawls back to where she was. “I-I can’t stop thinkin’ about ‘im! I need to find him…!”
She runs away in lustful pursuit, leaving her apartment door open. As soon as she’s out of view, you turn visible. You don’t know what to think of this.
“Phil, we’re ready.” Grace comes out from their little apartment! Mirjam and her are wearing discreet clothes. The duck is inside Grace’s hoodie. The fact that it doesn’t look bloated despite the bird’s presence and the pigtails is a testament that physics never made sense.
“Sorrrry for making you wait.” Mirjam apologizes as the two of them get by your side.
“Where are we going? I bet we’ll do something, like, really exciting!” Grace is ready to understand your plans.
The issue at hand is that you need to find Jesse somehow without any clues. You were in a similar situation with these two before when you needed to find Matilda, so this isn’t covering new ground exactly. You’ll have to use your renowned art skills to make a sketch of Jesse for them to identify, but is it a good idea to split up the team? Either way, Esperanza is supposed to help, but you haven’t seen her.
What do you do?
>Split the team to cover more ground to find Jesse.
>Walk around town together to find Jesse.
>Walk outside and wait for Esperanza to contact you.
>Pursue deranged girl to make sure nothing bad happens. You have a bad feeling about this.
>Enter deranged girl’s apartment for some reason.
>Write In.
