Over the rest of the meal, you talked back and forth with Azalea about anything and everything that came to mind, the relaxing setting and good food helping the conversation flow naturally. You told her a bit about life back home, your friends and family who left behind, and about the restlessness that inspired you to leave and broaden your horizons. In return, you learned a few interesting things about Azalea and fairies in general - apparently they age much slower than humans, as Azalea herself is around fifty years old despite looking as youthful as you are, and she'll apparently hit a growth spurt later on. She insists she's already the tallest fairy among those of similar age, a fact she seems to brag about.
You sleep in her guest bed that night, which she aptly called a "water bed", given how it's just a drop of water suspended in a wooden box. Apparently the surface tension alone is enough to keep you suspended on it, when you're this tiny. Unique experiences aside, in the morning you two set out, with Azalea initially struggling to haul out a few massive bags of provisions to bring with her until you offer to help her with the load. Once you reach the center of the Fairy Ring again, she comes to a stop and pulls out something wrapped in part of a leaf, presenting it to you.
Opening it up, you see that it's...a colorful frosted cookie, with the word "Eat Me" spelled out on it. Not really knowing why, but still wanting to be polite, you oblige the cookie and take a bite out of it. A familiar sense of vertigo overtakes you as soon as you do, causing you to grow back to around half your normal size. "Finish it up, unless you want to stay short!" Azalea prompts you after your look of confusion. With a nod and a quick "Oh!" of understanding, you finish it off and come back to your normal height. You must admit, it was a ridiculously sweet cookie.
With that all done and settled, you take all of her fairy-sized bags and just tuck them into one of your pockets for her, since the burden is virtually nonexistent for you. You start to set out once more on your journey, heading further through the Northern Great Forest. While you did encounter a few more interesting things in the deepest part of the forest, such as carnivorous plants that tried to snap up Azalea while she was resting and strange humanlike footprints that disappeared without a trace once you followed them to their end, you didn't really come across anything you'd consider challenging. Just strange, really.
