With the fact that TalOS needed to race his brother towards the kill TalOS had taken a contingent of Dreadnaughts and Knights as his bodyguards. Both were fast and with a single movement of TalOS’s hand found their firepower increased by a steady fifteen percent.
They were a spearhead and as such drew in a lot of the incoming fire from the surrounding Xenoforms that tried to defend their masters. The glory of the Machine God was among the Knights and Dreadnaughts though and flesh could not compare to the sheer havoc that TalOS was in possession of.
Finally, after fifteen minutes and several units crossed did TalOS and his warriors find the monster they were looking for.
The creature which was officially a Rangdan appeared to be a large humanoid that possessed a hardned outer shell. TalOS looked upon it and knew for a second that it was not really a Xenoform but another class of mutant. That was because the structure of the bone matched what should be for man. That the tale which extended out from the back was where man’s bone structure allowed. Its crooked form was offset by this overwriting of the divine human form.
TalOS knew his Father to have some foresight being a psyker, and this must have been what he saw. He sent Ferrus Manus to inspect the Rangdan because if they were left to their own devices would create these dangerous Xeno Forms.
TalOS knew it was dangerous and quickly commanded all fire from the Questorious to be fired into its form. Many of these attacks seemed to fissil out or slam into heavy armor of the creature. Seeing that it was finally threatened, its screaming ceased and it quickly began running towards the Spearhead with a group of Mutants behind it.
TalOS ran intercept, the Primarch sending out a covering fire of time warp into the horde that was protecting the monster. The Rangdan was caught in the timestream but instead of falling victim it gave another roar which rendered the timestream.
The Tech Priest knew in that moment that it would be near impossible to keep this thing alive for extraction. So he began searching his cloak for new weapons.
It knew that TalOS was the largest threat and covered the distance to meet him. TalOS quickly changed to an Eradication Ray crafted by his son T3SLA, which speared through a shoulder with a focused beam. Said limb finally melted off but the creature’s charge had finished before TalOS could get another shot through.
