For a woman who does not speak and with an expressionless face, she still carried a vivid visage.
“The chapel is unfortunately still in an excavation stage. The resistors sought to eliminate our access here first.” You walked alongside the sister. “However, we recovered data-slates and parchments of Anathema Psykana’s operations.”
‘Was the chapel always like this?’
You shook your head. “No, there were inhabitants here and they refused to let us in, so force had to be used. They saw your people as people to be worshiped next to the Emperor. Like angels.”
Asurma remained indifferent in that answer. She looked around the ruins, the debris that was once a place of worship of the Anathema Psykana.
You waited for her response. “Sister?”
‘It is good this chapel is destroyed. We are not an object of worship.’
“I’m glad you are pleased. There is plenty of space, perhaps the new training-” You coughed again. “Training grounds.”
‘Are you alright?’
“It is an allergy, nothing more. Perhaps we should move on.”
‘Lead the way.’
You led her to the docks, a rather short tour due to how little there was to explain. Though a question urge you to wonder…
