"Right. No time, we gotta act. Split up. We need to find the air supply here." You snap your fingers to get everyone's attention. They rightfully give you a weird look when you realize you haven't told them what your plan is and how.
"The fuck are you going to do? Throw something rotten inside to stink up the place? I don't get how that works." Lex is clearly confused.
"Ah. An attempt at biological warfare through attempting to spread your germs through it? Quite an inventive strategy." Quentin misses the mark completely. Your nose scrunches up at his implication.
Ashley's eyes light up the moment her brain clicks the pieces together. "Oh no. Oh no no no." There's no mirth in the smile she's giving you, only sheer outrage. "Okay. How do you plan on gassing the place. Is that some other bullshit power you have?"
"..." You pull out the small canister of nerve gas you have. Ashley can't even dignify you with a coherent response; she sputters to a stop at the sight of the canister. Lex and Quentin in the meanwhile are busy processing what they're seeing.
"That's why. I think it'll work. Do you guys have a better plan?"
"I-I guess not?" Lex is still reeling from what he saw. "I r-rather just punch them but, uh, I guess we'll deal with any survivors that way."
"It is functional. The causalities will be heavy. That is the point of the mission." Quentin barely pretends to care about the loss of human life. "Additionally, more bodies. That is useful to me. Hopefully without holes in the head." Seems like the shotgun thing rattled his mind still, huh?
"Well, let's split up. Try to find where we can pump this stuff into so we can dip out and deal with the stragglers. Alright?"
Your three allies nod in unison before splitting away from you, each hiding in a different direction. Now, here's the thing. You don't really know where it would be in this...abandoned building turned nightclub. For all you know there isn't one. That would be a real punch to the tit. No point sitting around and hoping the others find it for you, though.
If you had to guess, it would have to be somewhere in a closet or basement? Though it might be different considering what they turned the place into. So you start by trying to find a basement in question. You saw some stairs leading UP to a second floor, surely there's some below.
Yet when you get to the staircase you saw in the back, there's nothing leading down that you can see. That's weird, you would've thought you were rig- and Quentin bumps right into you.
"I did not find anything. The lights were too dazzling. Mind if I assist?" Wow, he gave up quick. You simply shrug as you continue to look. You eventually manage to stumble into a weird looking closet door. You open it up to reveal a staircase leading to the basement.
"Excellent." Quentin marks as the two of you travel down the stairs. It's a mess down here from what you can only assume is the previous junk from when this building wasn't abandoned.
