>>6143953>“The more the merrier. If everyone wants to go, then so be it. Just don’t get in my way. There’s a monster in there with all of my abilities, and I intend to go all out to bring it down. You’ll have to pull your own weight in there. No slowing the rest of the group down. Is that understood?” You say, motioning towards Elric.“Y-yes sir!”
>“And what about you all?” You say to the dozen of Alvin’s men that have assembled before you. Many of them look confused and unsure as to what is going on. “I’d prefer if some of you stayed behind and guarded all of our crap, but Alvin is your boss after all. Anyone want to tag along?”Most of Alvin’s men look ready to fight each other for the honor of staying behind and doing guard duty, but four men step forward, more determined than the rest. You recognize them from the ship. They were a rough looking sort, used to battle. You wouldn’t have to worry about them getting in your way.
>“That settles it.” With your armor equipped and your affairs in order, you heft your axe over your shoulder and take point in front of your party. “Let’s go!”You and the others race towards the center of Ithaca, where the Keep resides. The sound of battle has grown dim, and an eerie silence has fallen over the camp. By this point, it was likely that the Riahi had either finished off or subdued the remainder of Ithaca. As you draw closer to the Keep, you take a closer look at the structure. It was made of smooth, polished obsidian stone. There were no windows or viewpoints into the interior. Somehow, the building managed to give off an eerie vibe that had you feeling uneasy. Was this due to your closer proximity to the Magic Seal? Or was it perhaps your instincts warning you of the dangers that lay within those unassuming walls. Approaching the front entrance, you spot two men waiting at the top. They look remarkably different than the assassins you fought earlier.
“Unbelievable, ain’t it, Zain?” The first man says. He was a large brute, bald and with a scar running across his forehead. In his hands was a brutal-looking axe unbefitting of an assassin.
“Hard to believe, Zayn.” The second man says. Like the second, he is a hulking sort, covered in scars and sporting a dull look.
“Can’t believe they survived.” Zayn says.
“People’ll say the Riahi have gone soft.” Zain replies.
“That’s no good.” Zayn says, spitting on the ground. “Can’t have that.”
“Can’t have that. Margo said not to let anyone in.” Zain says. “Hey, should we kill them?”
“Hahaha! Good idea brother! There’s only a few, we can take ‘em!”
“Let’s kill them! Kill them!”
