>The Giants, call on ancient oaths >Information gatherFrom all the possible allies to call, the most likely to answer your call for aid were the Giants.
And would probably be the ones who contribute the most.
The Democracy and the Kobolds would never openly support you, at least for now.
And the other options were not very appealing.
But you had very little information about giants, only heard of them.
So you asked the group for any insight they could provide.
“Do we have any records of where they used to live or operate?”
It was a simple question, but important.
Cedalion had the answer.
“They are a civilization from outside the continent, if you cross the ocean going east there you will find their strongholds, in the untamed lands.
Humanity made an outpost there, but we assume it lost since the Great war.
We don't have vessels that could make the trip, so our best chance is finding a raiding party within the coast.
They are not common, but they stay in temporary outposts for a time before crossing back.”
So, an actual civilization that lived entirely in the Wildlands, and from what you remember they are creations of Gaia.
They remind you a bit of vikings.
And so a possible way to find them would be to scour the coast, hoping to get lucky.
Hildra contributed with her own knowledge
“I have only seen one, our company got hired to kill it. They eat a lot, so we could trail the raided farms to its location.
Its probably better to find them like this, but we will need to stop in a lot of cities to get an accurate map.”
“There is also the option to order Flora to do it.” Ghal said, mortified that he had suggested relying on the spriggan.
“Letting her work alone would track them faster, I have seen her do it during our work on the animals. But it requires loosening her leash, something I advise against.”
Those were some solid plans, but you still know little about the giants, so you ask.
The consensus was clear, they hate the pantheon and the civilized races.
Humanity was an exception due to the war they lost to them, learned metalworking and gunpowder from them as part of the aliance.
According to Charon the Confederation used them to wage a proxy war with the tyr in times of peace.
They stayed with flintlock weapons due to their massive size, if you shoot a boulder you dont care it takes time to reload.
The fiscal descriptions were… unreliable, as with anything in the wildlands.
The only constant trait were the multiple heads that didn't need to talk to each other.
How will you contact them?
>Try to scour the coas for any sign of them (How many troops/people/resources will you commit to this?) >Send a group to travel to elven settlements to track them (Who will go?)>Use Floras talents, risk her escape attempts.>Write inNote: After tomorrow I will be posting once every two days for maybe a week. I will be on the move so I wont be able to stay consistent.
