“What? An entire YEAR?” he shouts, shocked by the revelation. “Is that true?”
“Yes. I found that where Dumplin has taken up residence.” you tell him. “It's a special chamber at this place called the Lookout, where the planet's former Guardian resided. But I need to go speak with him again, to find out the limits of that place before we go.”
“I understand. If it works, let me know.” he says, a thoughtful look on his face. “Could use a bit of extra time myself.”
“I will.” you tell him, raising your right hand to your forehead. “Tell the grandkids I said hello.”
“Will do. Good luck, Dad.” Chilli says, the two of you sharing a nod as you reach out to Meloka telepathically.
“Where are you, hun?” you ask, thinking out to your wife.
“Back on that planet Earth, with the kids.” she answers, you teleporting right to her side. Reappearing beside your wife, only for a freezing wind to blow across your exposed body. The biting chill freezing on the tiny scratches Chilli's crystals cut in you, you sucking in a sharp breath. “Hey hun, y-What happened?”
“Just checked on Chilli, made sure he was keeping up his training.” you say aloud, then telepathically tell her what happened both with Broly and Chilli. Then, speaking aloud continue. “So, where are we?”
“This place is called Jingle Village.” your wife says, you watching as your youngest four, Okira here with her siblings now surprisingly all playing in the knee-deep snow. Making balls of snow in their hands and throwing them at each other. You then notice Koruza and Durah doing the same, throwing theirs much faster than the young kids, while Milha and Darkness are laying on their backs in the snow, swinging their arms and legs back and forth. “They're having fun.”
“That they are. Best to let them enjoy it, a little longer.” you say, then fill her in on your plan telepathically. To which she nods, you turning south and taking off. Leaving the frozen world behind, soaring higher and higher as you go south. Until eventually you find the Lookout once more, dashing up to it. Rising higher and higher until you draw level with it, ending your flight and landing on your feet. Where you'd landed earlier, Mr. Popo standing in the doorway of the building atop the structure.
