The overall training exercise was a city infiltration. TalOS had talked to the Priests of Lucius and one of the cities that were slated for demolition was decided for the coming battles. Against it was a decent chunk of the military forces that were gathered upon TalOS’s exhibitions. Overall the operation was being carried along with the efficiency that one should expect from the Mechanicum.
The issue was something that TalOS expected to have happened. Things like this would come up during the live fire exercises just as the Primarch predicted but the issue was still there.
Looking out of the transport, TalOS watched as Knights, Skitarii, and Super-Humans were all rushing upon the city. The Knights being employed as heavily mobile artillery platforms as the Skitarii were trying their best to snipe their enemies. This was a mix of both simulation and actual combat here as enough repairs were done to the complexe to re activate the defence grid.
There was a concept of being hit with a bullet as well as being hit by petrol based one, either way the Machine Spirits monitoring the event would record the event and run a diagnostic. If the attack was lethal the warrior was told to leave the fight while those roughly lethal would have a chance diagnostic placed on them. If the chance resulted in lethality, they would be forced to leave the battle.
Taking a look at the lines of ‘killed’ soldiers TalOS found it was on an acceptable margin. But it was not the performance he wanted when the greater battle came in. Such a reason was obvious for this side of combat was semi-experimental. While the armor was the Knights of Dutonis a great number of the Skitarii were of ten different Forge Worlds. That made this both the largest force but also making it the most diverse available to TalOS.
Though the issues were apparent as he arrived upon the battlefield’s Info Sphere.
+We were not be employing such experimental technology.+ Declared a Magos of Columnus as he sent out several packages worth of litany, +I respect the Sanctus Dominus and his Forge World, but my Forge World has yet to authorize the use of such technology.+
+Magos Dominus.+ TalOS registered those words as a Magos from Xana, +We cannot overlook the fact of such technology for the blessing it is.+
+It may be a blessing but I am not satisfied by the testing involving it! We do not know if the device will operate within areas of high Warp Interference.+
And within a second the two of them stopped coming, specifically when TalOS got connected with one of his Steel Wardens. A kind fellow TalOS was sure, letting them know of his approach so they would stop badgering one another.
