>>5372298The only way you’re going to crack a few eggs here is if you break some shells first, meaning that you’re going to have to actually look if you want to find something important here, and there has to be considering the sheer amount of servers present.
In a way, it’s kind of like a giant, electronic beehive because, if there’s a whole mess of these servers storing, collecting, and transferring FutureLabs’ data, then there has to be a central server or something along those lines managing it all. While you kind of wish Matt was here to give you some computer-related knowhow, he’s busy with his own work.
At this point, you wonder if he’s even made it to Vitello Hospital. While you technically don’t need a car for yourself, the traffic in this city can get rough even at the best of times, but you shake your head, continuing to press further into the thick of the electronic forest.

>Meanwhile, back in the city…Your name is Matt. Matt Martins, and you sure as hell have your work cut out for you.
Currently, you’re in some nondescript white van that you acquired by less-than-legal means. In other words, you freaking hotwired it, and you’re going to do the same to another, unsuspecting car in about a couple of hours, right after you steal back Eddie’s body from Vitello Hospital like the awesome bastard you are.
Right now, you’re only about halfway to Vitello, even though you left a freaking hour-and-a-half ago. Fingers tightening around the steering wheel, you huff a long, deep breath out of your nostril. Resisting the urge to beep at the guy is a feat in-and-of-itself, but you gotta hold your cover for now.
Sparing a glance to your current partner-in-crime, the elusive, yet loudmouthed Healer as you’ve come to find out, you wonder if you should’ve given your job to someone else instead of listening to this woman talk your ear off for the whole damn car ride.
(You preferred the awkward, stuttery Healer, if you’re being frank.)
“--so then I punched her straight in the face!” The Healer shouts, far-too-giddy for your liking. You weren’t really listening to the rest. “And that’s basically how I got fired from my old job as a nurse. Good times…”
