After Kritla's death, Fidor had a mental break and refused to believe he was dead, only missing. He searched for years, eventually resorting to building a shabby raft and floating out to sea. The isolation of traveling by sea only made his mental state worse, and he became convinced Kritla's soul was trapped inside one of his legs. He cut it off, only to find that he was wrong. Accepting death, Fidor spent the last few hours of his life belting old hymns into the air. He eventually succumbed to blood loss and then was washed away into the ocean by a storm.
