While you're miffed about getting bed taken from you so suddenly, your gut says the block-kid’s up to something, and, true to your intuition, the dingy mattress is replaced with a brand-new bed in a matter of seconds.
“Try it.” Ralph’s prompts.
Leaning down to touch the new bed, Bernard’s lanky frame still in your hold, you find that it looks and feels like a regular bed, which is what you kind of expected here. Still, you have to wonder if it does anything special like the torches, or does it just do nothing for you like the crafting table.
At this point, you’re pretty sure that most of the stuff responds in a video-gamey way when only Ralph uses it, while everything else reacts normally for every other, non-cubic folk.
With that reasoning in mind, you’re pretty sure the bed is safe enough for Bernard– or anyone else for that matter– and, with that, you set the teleporter down on the bed, not wasting time in sitting on it yourself.
