The men don’t like the idea of giving them away if they were to stay in Dawnholme. We would still be open to being hired for our services.”
“But we don’t see ourselves serving you or anyone else more than seasons time.” Drudgemoore continued. “While we are here, we can defend this place if needed.”
“Sofera’s Naze that is.” Surena corrected Drudgemoore. “Prince Alric, if we stay here, maybe we could attract more of our kind here. Mercenaries.”
That was a solid suggestion while not exactly what you had hoped. You had wanted to properly integrate them with the rest of the Stonemasons in Dawnholme to prevent them ending up separated from your Alteracis and preventing any issues that might come from it. In the long term all the people will end up being Alteracis, that is your goal, but maybe exceptions need to be made?
>Accept their suggestion, allow the Stonemason Mercenaries to stay in Sofera’s Naze, defending it and being open for hiring. Potentially attract more mercenaries there in the long term? Mercenary Camp?>Accept the suggestion and allow them to stay, but you will require something in return. Surena Caledon needs to join the rest of your mages in Dawnholme as you require her services.>The Stonemason Mercenaries need to return to Dawnholme and give their weapons away. You aren’t going to allow armed bands outside of your own forces in your lands. +30 Peasants.>South Durnholde Hills require protection, what if you offer land there for them and their families. And in return they protect it and start developing it. -20 Peasants>Other, write inTotal Resources:

QM: Second option doesn't give you the Mercenary Camp, but gets you Surena Caledon for free. And first option gets you the camp, but you have to hire them to get her services.
