>>5738546>Isn't everything decided by RNG?For sake of transparency, when the hex alongside Taurica was generated at the very start of this age, with the ruins containing a bound entity, I rolled dice to determine how it would affect the civ this age, eventually ending up with the involvement with the thirdborn son. However, I'm very much a "nothing is set in stone" kind of guy, and am usually constantly rolling dice to see if things continue down the initial path.
When the suggestion to give each child of the royal line a dragon came up, I rolled and determined it would avoid the initial fate that was set for him (to be lured to the ruins); he would've happily raised his dragon and become truly one of the family. However, when the result became tied between two and three, I made one final roll to see if the curse of the thirdborn would come back, and it did, thus sealing his fate.
