"I dun' care aboot yer fancy pancy myths. Yer jus' a monster. Thas' what yew really are. A monster dressed up nice."
"YOU ARE RIGHT!" He suddenly bellowed.
"Huh?!"
"Hn!"
Thandir's pressure ejected Seannsa and Summers both from his body. Seannsa landed on her back, leaning back up in shock. Summers went rolling, painfully moaning as her frame was dented ever more.
"The Thandir thou knowest is a confused beast of power with no idea of itself, tamed and shown the way by an altruistic and omniscient Emperor... the riddle of his perplexing disharmony answered without being answered! This is the myth of Thandir, the noble god..." He said. He raised his lone remaining fist; "AND IT BE NO MORE THAN HOGWASH! A TALE CONSTRUCTED TO SWAY THY MASSES THUS! AHAHAHAHAHA! NO MORE THAN A TALE!"
"What are yew sayin'...?!"
"Thou hast heard nothing of mine name beyond "Monster". Tis' true. I am a Monster!" He boasted.
Thandir's muscles bulged and grew. His enitre body grew larger. His armor groaned. It began to come apart.
"I AM A MONSTER OF GOD! I AM THE EMPEROR'S MONSTER... AND I AM THE EMPEROR! AHAHAHAHA!" He proclaimed, lifting the veil of his existence. "I AM THE EMPEROR'S DESIRE TO KILL, GIVEN A LIFE OF ITS OWN!"
Bloodlust. Murder. Slaying another. The impulses Huangdi had to do such things culminated ultimately in the monster of souls. The beast he created to reap and destroy the souls of Hainei, to further the lies of his mythos, and to multiply the servants he would have. Another piece of his far reaching hand.
"...This armor is nothing but a mirage. It is a new face I donned to hide what I truly am. But no more. I am now taking it off. Seannsa, thou hast earned this sight, that none other than the Emperor has ever seen. Thou should do well to remember it.... for it will be thy last sight before the purgatory I hath planned awaiting thee."
Lord Thandir arched his back as he looked up.
"And now... WITNESS... THAT MONSTER!"
Lord Thandir exploded.
