Sam seems a bit upset- a bit more then normal. She's quiet, and her normally peppy self seems pretty hurt. You know you had a close encounter there, but she seems a little more shaken up then you'd think somebody would in her situation. Once you carefully make it back from the tunnel and return to your apartment, the tunnel locked away for now, you ask her what's up.
<span class="mu-b">"Oh, sorry Rod. It's just... It's dumb. Don't worry about it."</span>
<span class="mu-r">"Please tell me. This is really important. Get it off your chest, no matter what it is. I won't make fun of you. I'm at least partially responsible for inviting you in before knowing something like that could happen in that secret tunnel. Please tell me."</span>
Sam looks at you with a soft look, her barriers coming down for a moment as she confesses.
<span class="mu-b">"Look... promise you won't make fun, right?"</span>
<span class="mu-r">"I won't."</span>
She sighs.
<span class="mu-b">"Okay... It's just, when we were walking into the tunnel, I was so excited about going into a place like that. We've gone to haunted places before, spooky standing structures in the woods, things like that- but nothing that just can't be there like your tunnel. I was so excited. But as we went up to that corner, I just had a vision in my mind's eye. It was my imagination. I was thinking of creepypasta online, /x/ posts, things like that- and my mind just filled in the scariest thing I could imagine. A twisted up human figure just hiding around that corner, getting excited waiting for you to reveal it so it could pop out and scare you. And then... Well once I thought of that, I actually felt like it was there. Like I had somehow brought it to where it was, or I was seeing around the corner in my imagination. I was so scared. I tugged the rope for you to stop, and then it got even worse; and somehow I KNEW it was there. I made that creature up, Rod. Some of the details I didn't but a weird eyeless ghoul with a skeleton face and bandages and a big lead pipe... that was what I imagined. And then it was REAL and it almost killed you."</span>
You find what she's saying hard to believe. It's not just that she made it up, but that what she imagined became real. Was she given a vision, or was it more like her nightmare became real?
<span class="mu-b">"...I'm sorry Rod, but I don't want to go back there. Me and my friends have been looking for something like this, something far out and real. But that was a little too real for me."</span>
<span class="mu-r">"...I understand."</span>
You're a little disappointed, but you suppose since you didn't try very hard to get her to come back, you might be on your own. Now the question is... what next?
