Rolled 7 (1d10)
>>5571934Flares burst into the sky on both sides of the road and artillery began pounding the town ahead of them, but no enemy fire could be heard over the rumble of the truck engines. That was encouraging. Not long ago Adrian would have been full of nerves at this point, but their experience from the fighting in Kobberhaus had given him and his men a new sense of confidence that enemy opposition wasn't a death sentence, just an obstacle that could be overcome. That confidence also may have inspired a streak of aggression, and the lack of contact in the dark buildings ahead of them gave Adrian an idea. New directions were given to the driver of his truck, and his platoon's convoy veered off the road and began heading for the west side of the town instead of driving directly into it. It was a bit risky, but the sooner they got deep into the town the less time the enemy would have to react to their assault. And if they ran into trouble surely the rest of the battalion would be just behind to back them up.
>Spotting roll though I doubt I can see anything from here that no one else can>Movement: S, SW, SW, Dismount, SE>Dig InMovement should look as in the pic. I'm assuming that last tile in EE25 counts as urban cover because I see some buildings in it, but let me know if it isn't and I'll adjust my move so as not to be stuck standing on an open road in the middle of an enemy held town like a bunch of idiots.
