Standing on Violet's back as Hyde skillfully maneuvered her over the Makara hoses, the bloody chunks thar Guts was flinging upwards, and now the whirlpools forming a liquid path into the skies, defying gravity itself as they were forced to jump and twirl respectively to dodge the inhuman barrage of blow against them.
Hyde and Serpico nodded to each other, each one of them combining their attacks as Hyde threw them in a far off direction, only to be redirected at twice the speed in odd directions to gravitate towards Daiba.
As the whirlpools closed onto them, the sylphs made sure that the circular waves were cut spilled into regular waves, Daiba had a hard time even dodging the attacks, not used to his Od gates being blocked with such inconsistency.
By the time the 5th Makara goes down, Guts is already drowning thanks to a lack of leveraging platforms to stand on. Though thanks to a precise shot from the flying hunter's sling, the caster fell on top of a Makara, sliding off into the sea water as Hyde had struck a nerve on his nape with enough force to paralyze his body for a few brief moments.
As the Makaras began to revert to their whale forms, you pondered if the attack had finally done Daiba in. Being an old man such as himself, he should not be able to take more damage than a few rightfully placed pellets onto his body...
