>>6119401Something bad happens to Skitty due to her own decisions made out of overconfidence. She seems great at outspeeding a boulder: four base Speed plus three training, and outrunning it is not a sweat.
What is a sweat is tripping over one of the many tiny, glowy mushrooms in her mad dash, resulting in the boulder catching up. Yeowwwwch!! Take 12 True damage from crushing.

Or allergenic spores, for that matter. It's a simple downwards slope, soon leading to a small drop, conveniently above one of those bouncy mushrooms to break your fall into an open chamber. Cubone takes the plunge first, and walking ahead into the room, you find three circles of those two-toned mushrooms you were looking for! Neat! ...Right? There's... not supposed to be a single, big mushroom growing in the middle of them though, is there?
The boulder arrives in the chamber next, landing in a small ditch designed to catch it, rather than the soft mushroom you'd landed on. Skitty follows suit, landing atop it gently, like a flat piece of paper. Fortunately, this deals no damage.
Hey, remember that big mushroom in the middle of the others? Mushrooms don't have eyes, right? Or roar at you? Wait. That's an Amoonguss... right?
No one here can tell you what specifically is up with this Pokemon, but despite looking like Amoonguss, it seems... different. A regional variant, perhaps?
