For a mobile species that relies on frequent bursts of heavy activity to navigate the tides and hunt its prey, this isn’t a sufficient source of nutrients but it is more now than it was. Their cancer rate has dropped and is contributing moderately less to their death toll than several thousands of generations ago. In concert with their Latcher scraping and the healthier population of Lump Grazers, a food intake has caused the Flounder Feeder’s population to reach a comfortable, static position.
