You step outside and look at the imposing face of the tower. Astamon could probably fly up there, but the higher you go, the more likely it is that an attacker turns around and engages you. The flood of flying Digimon presents a clear threat.
"What do you think of doing up the side?"
<span class="mu-s">"It'll be a hell of a lot faster. I'm just worried about someone trying to stop us. It's harder to fight while carrying you."</span>
"I don't have camouflage reserves anymore either. But we'll burn too much time climbing, if we find something like those giant chickens again, it'll be too late."
<span class="mu-s">"Then let's get to climbing."</span>
An idea crosses your mind. You begin emptying out the Digivice's storage, tossing huge morsels of food onto the ground surrounding the tower.
<span class="mu-s">"What the- What're you doing?! That's mine!"</span> Astamon whines.
"It'll grow back! The Digifarm will grow more by the time we're out of here."
<span class="mu-s">"Sure, but why are you dumping it out on the ground like that?"</span>
"These guys are all wild creatures. They may be defending their home, but there's no way they all have personal loyalty to DarkTyrannomon. Right?"
He nods slowly.
"So maybe this will distract them. Protect this tower, or swoop down at the meat below? It could save us a bit of trouble if they choose wrong."
Astamon stares out over the street, then sniffs the air.
<span class="mu-s">"It does smell good... Is there something different about this meat? It seems a lot better than the usual stuff."</span>
"No, it's the same as ever."
He must have different tastes as an Ultimate Digimon. You hand him a piece to enjoy before the climb.
