He lets go of the shopkeeper to point his finger directly at your chest, jabbing at you with it.
"DON'T YOU GIVE ME NO LIP BOY! DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHO- ACK!"
You grab his outstretched finger with your hand, twisting it. He bends trying to keep it in a more natural position, clearly in a great amount of pain.
<span class="mu-r">"Didn't your mother teach you it's not polite to point?"</span>
"Ow! OW OW! LET GO!"
<span class="mu-r">"Only after you apologize."</span>
He's shorter and weaker then you, not a serious threat to a masked vigilante. He doesn't know you beat up three armed assailants earlier today no sweat. You twist his finger again, feeling a bit of sadistic pleasure in having such an easy time in controlling him; but you don't let it get to your head. This is purely to teach him a lesson.
"Ow! Okay! Sorry!"
<span class="mu-r">"Not me, you idiot! The storekeeper you were so rude towards. Why don't you apologize to him?"</span>
"Ow! Okay- Sorry for yelling at you! And trying to- uhh- Ouch! Skip the wait list!"
<span class="mu-r">"And you'd be happy to go on the wait list at the end. Fair is fair, right?"</span>
"Yes! Please put me at the end of the wait list! Thank you!"
Satisfied, you let him go, he nurses his finger. He looks angry, like he wants to say something else, but seeing your confident expression, he says nothing, and instead makes for the exit.
<span class="mu-g">"...I can't believe you did that."</span>
<span class="mu-r">"I think he deserved it. He was looking like he wanted to get violent with you."</span>
<span class="mu-g">"Yeah, people like that always talk big but back off the moment someone with a spine stands up to them... thanks."</span>
<span class="mu-r">"You shouldn't let people like that extort you."</span>
<span class="mu-g">"It's just... not that easy. Don't worry, I won't report you to the Peace Keepers or anything."</span>
<span class="mu-r">"By the way, about that waiting list; you don't need to pay to get on it, do you?"</span>
<span class="mu-g">"No. And if you'd like, I could put you above our friend here..."</span>
While not exactly the bravest thing in the world to stand up to; a loudmouth bureaucrat who thinks he's a lot more important then he is, you still feel good for yourself. You just can't stand bullies like that, and some people refuse to learn things politely and properly. You feel like you've regained your nerve.
